Oct. 03– The Golden Bears finished sixth in their final tune-up for the NSIC Championships at the Best Western Riverport Classic in Winona. For the tournament, Concordia shot a team shore of 1134, while Southwest Minnesota State won with a 985.

Jennie Eyberg led the Bears with a three-round total of 261 (90-86-85). She finished in 17th. Erin Oakland of Southwest Minnesota earned medalist honors witha 234.

Laura Shelander fired a 89-88-87=264 to finishe 19th. Kelsey Walt finished in a tie for 31st with a 282 (94-96-92) and Amy Peterson tallied a 327 (114-106017=327 and Leah Lambert shot a 120-113-122 for a total of 355.

The Bears will compete at the NSIC Championships on Oct. 9-10 in Willmar, MN.
