Oct. 16– The Concordia men's cross country team finished in second place at the Winona State Invitational while Renato Otten and Marcus Breitbarth finished in third and fourth place respectively. Otten ran a 27:15, whil Breitbarth finished in 27:21. Evan Palenschalt ran a personal best of 28:04 to finish eighth.
Josh Stebbins ran 28:52 to finish 17th and Aron Stumvol followed in 18th witha time of 28:58. Paul James ran a time of 30:17 to plavce 26th of 49 runners.
On the women's side, Shae Wallin was Concordia's top runner finishing 10th in a time of 20:52, while Jessica Johnson finished 33rd in a time of 23:01. Kaitlin Hartnett ran 23:28 to place 45th and Haidee Kuehne ran 26:19 to finish 53rd.
The Bears will run at the NSIC Championships this Saturday, Oct. 23rd, in Wayne, Neb.
