Nov. 08– The Golden Bears cross country team closed out a successful season by running in the North Central Regional Championship in Vermillion, South Dakota.

The men's team finished 17 out of 20 teams and were once again led by Marcus Breitbarth who finished a team high 67th out of 135 runners. Renato Otten came in 78th and Kyle Warren finished 88th. Josh Stebbins was 111th, Paul James finished 122nd and teammate Aaron Stumvoll was right behind him in 123rd.

The Golden Bear women's team came in 22nd place out of 24 teams at the championship meet. Shae Wallin led the team with a 82nd place finish out of 156 runners. Amanda Mueller came in 108th, Jessica Johnson ran 139th and Jennifer Carbone finished 145th. Kaitlin Hartnett finished 148th and Haidee Kuehne rounded out the Bears effort in 156th.
