Sep. 24– After two weeks off, the Concordia cross country team ran at the Roy Griak Invite today at Les Bolstad Golf Course at the University of Minnesota. The women finished 19th of 23 teams, while the men did not post a team score.
Amanda Mueller led the Bears, finishing in 49th of 279 runners in a time of 24:18. Shae Wallin crossed the line at 24:42 to finish 81st and Jessica Johnson finished at 26:58 (134th). Emily Stanzyk ran 27:24 (143rd) and Kaitlin Hartnett ran 27:46 (154th) and Rachel Johnson was close behind at 27:57 (157th) and Erin Thompson ran 34:23 (274th).
On the meb’s side, Kyle Warren paced the Bears with a 28:10.59, to finish in 178th of 411 runners. Renatto Otten ran 29:37.14 to finish 287th. Paul James finished 327th (30:29.56) and Alan Stage ran 31:56.64 (369th).
The Bears will be in action again on Oct. 1 at the Sean Earl Invite in Chicago, IL.
