Apr. 01– Kevin Strandberg fired a 77 to lead the men's golf team at the Augustana Invite at the Elmwood golf course in Sioux Falls, SD in their first action of the spring season.  As a team, the Bears finished 14th of 16 teams with a team score of 340.

Nick Gallaway and Lance Meyers each shot a 87 to finish tied for 61st of the 80 golfers.  Matt Alford finished in 71st with a 89 and Geoffrey Grunwald had a 97 to finish 78th.

Winona State won the team title with a 290 and Ryan Carlson of MSU Mankato earned medalist honors with a 3-under 69.

The Bears will be in action again at the South Dakota Invite on Apr. 2-3.
