The Bears dropped their third straight contest with a 4-1 loss at Northwest Missouri State on Saturday afternoon. Katie Johnson scored the Bears only goal of the game in the 77nd minute of the game to cut Northwest Missouri?s lead to 2-1.
The Bearcats scored two quick goals in the next six minutes to put the game out of reach in the 79th minute. The Bears had 11 shots, with Johnson taking six of those, with three on goal. Northwest Missouri took 16 shots in the game with six coming on goal. Hannah Turgerson took the loss in the net allowing four goals and stopping two.
With the loss, the Bears fall to 1-3 on the season and will play Missouri Western on Sunday at 1:00.
