Sep. 07– NCAA Division II has announced the football games that will be a part of its broadband and television partnership with College Sports Television (CSTV). Division II and CSTV entered a three-year regular-season television and broadband partnership in July that will showcase select Division II football and men?s and women?s basketball games live, beginning with coverage in the 2006 fall and 2007 winter seasons.

As part of this agreement, Concordia football has been chosen to have two games broadcast on the web.  Fans will be able to watch the Sept. 16th Northern State and the Sept. 30th Winona State football games live on the internet.

The games can be found at www.NCAAsports.com/DII. In addition to live games, www.NCAAsports.com/DII powered by CSTV will feature stories, scores, blogs, video and audio that are dedicated to Division II sports making it not only a destination site for live games, but for information on Division II sports.

The regular-season partnership is the first of its kind for Division II. The CSTV agreement, which runs through 2009, provides an amplified platform to highlight Division II contests and student-athlete accomplishments, while also promoting the intercollegiate athletics philosophy for Division II member institutions. There are more than 74,800 student-athletes competing at 290 NCAA Division II colleges and universities nationwide.

A Division II media advisory group provided assistance in the development of the agreement and the determination of which contests would be broadcast.
