Sep. 09– The Bears suffered their fifth straight loss of the season with a 4-0 loss to Northern Michigan in Marquette, Michigan on Saturday afternoon.
Keyton Wheelock held Northern Michigan scoreless in the first half stopping seven shots, but the Wildcats offense was too much for the Bears as they outshot Concordia 27-11 and 18-3 on goal. Wheelock finished the game with 14 saves. Hillary Johnson had two of Concordia's three shots on goal, while Rachel Vitense had the other.
The Bears will be in action against Saginaw Valley at 11:00 on Sunday.
