Sep. 17– Freshman Kelly Godwin fired a 79-74=173 to finish second at the Concordia Invite played at The Jewel in Lake City.  As a team, the Bears shot a 666 to finish fifth of the 12 teams.  Sunday's 333 was the third lowest of the day for team action.

Carley Roach of Augustana took medalist honors with a 72-73=145 to help the Vikinkgs take the team title witha  306-338=644.

Amanda Bearson shot a 89-83=172 to finish in a tie for 29th with teammate Kelsey Walt who fired a 84-88=172.  Jacquelyn Hauser finished T33rd with a 82-91=173 and Carley Paulseth shot 88-88=176 to round out team action.

Melissa Burrows shot a 100-98=198 (63rd) and Jennifer Hughes shot 100-115=215 (69th) in independent action.

The Bears will compete on Sept. 23-24 at the Mustang Invite in Marshall, MN.
