Oct. 07– Kyle Warren finished second at the UMD Pine Hill Invite and Paul James ninth to lead the Bears to a third-place finish Saturday in Duluth. Shae Wallin and Emily Stanzyk crossed the line next to each other in 11th and 12th as the women finished fourth of the eight teams.
The women finished with 90 points, while the University of Minnesota won the meet with a team score of 20. Sally Paulson won the race for the Gophers in a time of 23:00.30. On the men's side, CSP scored 65 points with St. Scholastica winning the team title with 42 points. Matt Kramer of UW Superior won in a time of 26:40.50.
The Bears are off now unitl they host the NSIC Championships on Oct. 21st at Les Bolstad Golf Course on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota.
