Vitense, Grannes Named to All-Tournament Team

Oct. 29Concordia seniors Rachel Vitense and Emily Grannes were named the the NSIC all-Tournament team after the Bears defeated Wayne State 1-0 in the third-place game of the tournament in Winona.  NSIC newcomer University of Mary claimed their first NSIC title with a 1-0 win over three-time defending champion Winona State 1-0 in overtime.

Vitense scored the Bears only goal against Wayne State in the third place game and had a goal in the Bears 3-1 win over MSU Moorhead in the first round of the NSIC tournament.

Grannes anchored a Concordia defense that surrendered only two goals in three NSIC tournament games.
