Drew Woods enters his second season for the Concordia women's basketball program. Woods joined the Golden Bears in 2006-07 after serving as an assistant coach at Minneapolis Community & Technical College for the 2005-06 season. He is involved in game day strategy, all areas of the recruiting process and working with post players. While at MCTC, the Marauders won the Southern Division and were MCCC State Tournament runner-up and Region 13 runner-up. He has served as head coach of the Minnesota Triple Threat AAU Program from 2004-2006.  It is one of the top AAU clubs in the midwest, where they were the 2006 Minnesota AAU State Champ runner-up at the 16U Div I and the 2004 Minnesota AAU State champions 15U Div I. Woods is a 2001 graduate of Concordia University, with a BA in kinesiology.  He was a 2000 Second Team All-NSIC Defensive End in football for the Golden Bears.  He is originally from Detroit, Mich. and is married to assistant women's basketball coach Angie Woods, and has a son, Andre.

College:  Was an All-NSIC second team defensive end for the CU football team in 2000 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2001
