Reed Tietz is in his third year with the Concordia University coaching staff, and will focus on working with hurdle athletes this season. Tietz is a 2004 graduate of Concordia University where he triple majored in Marketing, Finance and Accounting. He was also actively involved in both the football and track & field programs at Concordia.
His athletic highlights include: Football--NSIC First Team All-Conference (2001, 2002), First Team All-Region (2002), Concordia Team Defensive MVP (2001, 2002); Track--NSIC Pentathlon Runner-up (2003), Decathlon Champion (2004), NSIC All-Conference Hurdles (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), NSIC All-Conference 4x100 Meter Relay (2003), NSIC All-Conference Javelin (2004). Tietz currently holds five Concordia University track & field records. He is a USATF Level I certified coach. Tietz is a Marketing Associate at Lamperts, a lumber and building material supplier in St. Paul.
