Apr. 01 - The Concordia University volleyball team, 2007 NCAA Division II National Champions, will be making another public appearance in the Twin Cities on Wednesday, April 2 when they will be honored on the field before the Minnesota Twins host the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn.

Dec. 06 - Listen live on the Twin Cities radio airwaves on WCCO AM 830 as juniors Maria Steinhagen and Whitney Meierotto, sophomores Maggie McNamara, Sadie Kessler and Mary Slinger and freshmen Emily Palkert and Krista Erickson will be featured from 3-4 p.m. with Dan Geiger.

Dec. 06 - The second showing of the Northern Sun Showcase is set to air this weekend on Fox Sports Net North on Saturday, December, 8th at 12:00 p.m. It will be replayed on Sunday, December 9th at 10:00 p.m. as well as Monday. December 10th at 1:30 and 6:30 a.m. Featured on this show are highlights from Concordia-St. Paul's Volleyball National Championship and a feature on Katie LaViolette and Maggie McNamara each being assist champions in 2006-07 in their respective sports. Highlights from CU's 89-65 win over MSU Moorhead in women's basketball will also be featured.

Dec. 05 - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is proud to announce that Concordia University-St. Paul head women's volleyball coach Brady Starkey has been selected has the 2007 Division II AVCA National Coach of the Year.

The Concordia University athletic department and university administration unveiled the 2007 NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship banner in front of a lively crowd comprised of students, staff members, parents, program supporters and reporters from KARE 11 and WCCO TV on Monday afternoon at the Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Raina provides the dancing and cheering on the sidelines for CU

Concordia University sophomore outside hitter Raina Hein entered a blog throughout the Golden Bears' NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship run that chronicled her experiences in competing for a championship.
