Instructors are Concordia students studying to become teachers and local community teachers and artists. The cost is $300 per camper with some scholarships available. Breakfast and lunch are provided. The mission of the Hmong Culture and Language Program is to preserve the Hmong culture through storytelling, gardening and the arts. The program grew out of the needs in the Hmong community and the need for Concordia students to experience pre-service and cross-cultural teaching. Through the Hmong Culture and Language Program's Summer Camp, students deepen academic self-confidence while ramping up learning skills prior to returning to school in the fall. For additional information contact Sally Baas, 651-603-6188.
