When

Start: Wednesday, February 01, 2012
from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM

What

Day of Awareness: Are We There Yet? (CSP Faculty & Students) A panel of Concordia University faculty and students will facilitate a conversation on race relations as they respond to the results of the Concordia campus survey, button campaign, faculty panel discussion and themes from student interview groups.  The panel will help to facilitate a community plan of action that addresses the themes uncovered during the convocation. This convocation is part of the Spring 2012 Convocation Series.  Information about spring convocations is available at http://concordia.csp.edu/facultyscholarshipcenter/convocation.html. The convocation series was established to provide academic insight and discussion about topics surrounding the university, the larger community and our society.  Convocations are hosted by both Concordia faculty and guest academia.  Participation is welcomed and encouraged from Concordia staff and students, alumni, donors and members of the community.
