What

Director/producer Jobe Cerny shares with Concordia the saga of his most recent production, The Word of Promise New Testament Audio Bible. Cerny produced this epic work along with a star studded cast (including Marissa Tomei, Gary Sinise, Lou Gosset Jr., and Stacy Keach), sound effects, and music. Cerny is the voice of the Pillsbury Dough Boy, a former comedy writer for The Second City, and founder of Cerny/American Creative. He graduated from Valparaiso University with a major in Speech and minor in Theatre. The convocation series was established to provide academic insight and discussion about topics surrounding the university, the larger community and our society. Convocations are hosted by both Concordia faculty and guest academia. Participation is welcomed and encouraged from Concordia staff and students, alumni, donors and members of the community.
