What
A world premier in collaboration with Spirit in the House:
MARIETTA is a play based on the true story of one mother’s journey towards forgiveness in the wake of an unspeakable family tragedy. In 1973 Marietta Jaeger’s youngest daughter was kidnapped and murdered. Marietta wrestled with her fury and rage and through the power of God’s love, wisdom and inspiration, she was able to forgive the person who caused tremendous pain for her and her family. This play is based on personal testimony from Marietta about the event and her experience of epiphany, which allowed her to accept God’s will over her own.
Spirit in the House is a company that creates events where spiritual diversity is honored and encouraged. We learn by knowing each other, and understanding brings peace.
