The Skylark Opera 2013 Festival is coming to Concordia University's E.M. Pearson Theatre June 14-23, 2013.
Skylark's sixth annual summer festival features two shows:
The Fantasticks – A Broadway hit and the world's longest running musical. This romantic comedy brims with classics such as "Try to Remember" and "Soon It's Gonna Rain." Crafted with charming simplicity, it is the story of a boy, a girl, their meddling fathers and the wall that divides them. (Directed by Robert Neu)

The Mikado – Gilbert and Sullivan's most celebrated comic operetta offers guaranteed giggles with "I've Got a Little List" and other hits. A re-imagined production developed in collaboration with Mu Performing Arts. Names and locations have been updated while the memorable music and comedy remain intact. Flirting is forbidden in the English town of Ti-Tea-Pu complicating a hilarious love triangle. (Directed by Rick Shiomi)
