CSP Alumnus Receives Medal of Valor

Senior Police Officer Aaron Cawthorne ('07) helped rescue three young people from a burning SUV and has been awarded the Medal of Valor from the Des Moines, Iowa Police Department.  Cawthorne, a 2007 Concordia University, St. Paul graduate, reacted on instinct last August and was awarded the Medal of Valor on December 14, 2011.  A video of the rescue, additional information on the accident and comments from the family are online.
