Fifth National Championship Banner Unveiled

Concordia’s fifth NCAA Division II Volleyball National Championship banner was unveiled during a ceremony honoring the team Jan. 20 at the Gangelhoff Center. The Golden Bears captured their unprecedented fifth-consecutive national title in December by sweeping Cal State San Bernardino to claim the 2011 championship.

Concordia, which also won championships in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, is the first team in either Division I or Division II volleyball to win five straight national titles.
