Concordia's Department of Art is hosting the exhibition Crossing Borders, Photographing Tijuana at the Concordia Gallery Nov. 29-Dec. 20.
The exhibition features works from urban landscape and portrait photographers Alejandro Cartagena, Ingrid Hernandez, Anthony Marchetti and Laura Migliorino. The majority of the photographs share the same theme of "urban sprawl".
This activity is funded, in part, by the Minnesota State Arts Board through the arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the Legacy Amendment vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov. 4, 2008.
In addition to this show in the Concordia Gallery, the adjacent H.Williams Teaching Gallery is featuring the senior exhibition from Concordia student Sophia Mayrhofer.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
