Mary Pietsch
Vice President, Nielsen Consumer & Shopper Practice Area

Mary Pietsch leads a team specializing in Consumer and Shopper insights servicing many of Nielsen’s manufacturer clients across the U.S.   The team is focused on providing customers with integrated solutions and innovation designed to influence consumer choices as well as shopping behaviors through various stages of the Path to Purchase.  During her time at Nielsen, Mary has authored many industry leadership analyses, focusing on sectors of the population such as Dollar Store shoppers, Boomer, Millennial, and Hispanic consumers, delivering these insights at various industry events such as FMI.  She also is involved with college recruiting programs and diversity initiatives.  In addition to being an active member of the Network of Executive Women, Mary is a Midwest leader within Nielsen’s internal women’s resource group and working on a coaching start-up that will service aspiring and new professionals across the Twin Cities.

Prior to joining Nielsen, Mary was with The NPD Group, where she worked with engaged with clients to provide insights from purchase, consumption, and custom research information.  When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.

 

Cindy Sattler
COO/CFO Lawrence Merchandising Services

Cindy Sattler joined Lawrence Merchandising Services in 2008 and has 28 years of industry experience in retail, manufacturing and real estate. Ms. Sattler’s expertise includes leading high growth organizations, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, finance and operations. Prior to joining the company, she was the Chief Administrative Officer for HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary. She also held leadership positions with Polaris Industries, Alliant Techsystems and Honeywell. Ms. Sattler has a B.S.B.A in accounting from the University of North Dakota and a Masters Degree from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota. She is currently the Twin Cities Sponsorship Committee Chair for the Network of Executive Women, an eight year mentor with Menttium Corporation and a member of the MNCPA.
