Susan W. Allen
Senior Marketing Director, Schwan's Consumer Brands
Susan W. Allen, Senior Marketing Director for Schwan's Consumer Brands, has spent her career revitalizing struggling brands in business turnaround situations in a diverse range of settings--public and private organizations, branded and private label, CPG and retail environments.
Susan started her marketing career at General Mills, with experience in a wide variety categories including cereal, dry bakery and breakfast. Later, she drove significant business transformation at ConAgra Foods where she is credited with delivering over 50% growth to declining popcorn brands. At SUPERVALU, she launched the successful Private Brand Essential Everyday®, driving banner differentiation and private brand share growth, marketing efficiency and significant cost savings. Currently at Schwan’s she is leading the Pies and Asian brands to a reversal of negative trends within an operational turnaround environment. She has developed compelling brand positioning with national advertising for the first time, and dollar share gains of +3.1pts in Frozen Pies and +3.6 in Frozen Asian Snacks.
Susan received her Bachelor’s Degree from Howard University in Accounting, and an MBA from UCLA in Marketing. Susan lives in Deephaven, MN with her husband and five year old son.
Customer Vice President - Target Team at Mondelēz International
Jill McCarthy is the Customer Vice President for Mondelēz International where she leads the Target Corporation account. Jill started her career with Procter and Gamble in the account management role for several key customers including Wal-Mart. In addition, through her 20 + year career in the Consumer Product industry she has assumed roles of increasing responsibility for such companies as Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo and now Mondelēz International (which comprises the global snack and food brands of the former Kraft Foods.) She is responsible for the overall strategy, management and sales of Target Corporation for Mondelēz International.
Jill earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She lives in the Twin Cities area and has two children, Rachel and Allison.
