Concordia University, St. Paul's Department of Theology and Ministry announced that Pastor Adam Clark has accepted a call to serve as professor of Theology and Ethics.
Pr. Clark has served as assistant pastor at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Mishawaka, Ind., since 2008. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Notre Dame. He will begin his service with Concordia on Aug. 1, 2014.
"Pr. Clark significantly broadens the theological expertise of the Department of Theology and Ministry," said Dr. Mark Schuler, chairperson of Concordia's Department of Theology and Ministry. "He gives us a more powerful voice at the intersection of Christianity and the contemporary cultures of America and the Twin Cities."
A member of the Society of Christian Ethics, American Academy of Religion, and International Bonhoeffer Society, Pr. Clark earned a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary (St. Louis) in 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina in 2003.
