Discover your calling in God's world through Concordia University, St. Paul's CU in Ministry retreat. This overnight event partners with our Concordia Open House to offer fellowship, worship, and a glimpse of how Concordia University can prepare you for your future!

Join us on campus to find out! CU in Ministry will take place from 9:15am on Saturday through 10:30am on Sunday.

Those signed up to attend should prepare the following required items for event check-in:

Events and Activities- Saturday, October 18th

Here's a glimpse of what you'll do on campus on Saturday:

9:15am Check-In for Concordia Open House  Pearson Commons
9:30am University Welcome
9:45am Admissions and Financial Aid Information
10:15am Campus Tour
11:15am Academic Sessions
11:45am Lunch with CSP faculty
12:45pm Wrap-Up

As the open house concludes, CU in Ministry will commence!
At this time, any parents, guardians and family members will depart.

Here are some of the things that will take place on Saturday afternoon/evening:

  • Ice Breakers
  • Bible Study
  • Attend a CU Golden Bear Volleyball Game
  • Enjoy dinner at one of St. Paul's many great restaurants
  • Bonfire and s'mores
  • Spend the night in a residence hall with a current Concordia student

Events and Activities- Sunday, October 19th

Families are welcome to join for all Sunday activities. More information regarding the campus location for worship and breakfast will be provided soon.

9:00am Sunday morning worship service with a continental breakfast to follow
10:15am Wrap-Up and Goodbyes


What should I bring?
Sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, Bible, completed Medical Information Form, $20 to cover meal costs.

Where will I sleep?
You'll be spending the night in the residence halls with a current CSP student.

Do I have to stay for the entire event?
If you sign up for the CU in Ministry event, it will be expected that you stay for the entire length of the retreat. If you would prefer a one-day option, please register to attend Concordia Open House which takes place on Saturday only.

Do I have to attend Concordia Open House on Saturday?
Yes. CU in Ministry is held in partnership with the open house event. CU in Ministry will officially begin at the conclusion of the open house at 1pm on Saturday.

Why should I attend this event?
It's an exciting opportunity to spend time with current CSP students, get a feel for campus life and learn more about how to CU in Ministry. BONUS - You'll make new friends with students from all around the country!
