Rev. Kent Burreson to Examine Luther's Liturgical Reforms

2013 Reformation Heritage Lecture Series, October 29, 7 p.m.

To mark the upcoming 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation, Rev. Dr. Kent J. Burreson of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis is giving a presentation titled "Luther the Liturgist: Conservative or Radical?" on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the Graebner Memorial Chapel.

Rev. Burreson, Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at Concordia Seminary and Dean of the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus (St. Louis), will examine Luther's liturgical reforms, exploring implications of those reforms in the 16th century and suggesting lessons to be learned for Christian worship in light of modern liturgical movements and trends.
