The Concordia University Department of Art and Design presents the Concordia Continental Ceramics Competition 5, May 6 through June 27, 2014 at the Concordia Gallery. This biennial juried clay exhibition, which includes entries from North America, Central America and the Caribbean, showcases artworks ranging from the traditional vessel to ambitious sculptural work.
The show is regarded as one of the premier international juried clay exhibitions in the country. An opening reception for the exhibition will be held Tuesday, May 6, from 5-7 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
The galleries of Concordia University, St. Paul are located in the Concordia Art Center (1301 Marshall Avenue). On street parking is available. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and by appointment.
