CSP Signs Lease for Office Space at Central Midway Building

central-midway-7Concordia University, St. Paul’s campus footprint will now reach north across I-94 as the university announced it has signed a five-year lease agreement to utilize the entire fifth floor of the Central Midway Building located directly across the pedestrian bridge from Holst Hall.

The main tenant of the new 11,000 square-foot space will be Concordia’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, which is currently housed in Thompson Hall. The new facility will include three classrooms, a research lab, student lounge, conference room and administrative offices. The DPT program is tentatively scheduled to move into the new location on January 1, 2016.

Director of Concordia’s DPT Program Dr. Peter Rundquist is pleased to be moving into a larger and more accommodating facility.

“Each of the proposed classrooms in the Central Midway Building will be larger than the classroom we have in Thompson Hall currently. Additionally, there is space available for research and faculty offices. Overall, we anticipate being able to work with our students more effectively in the new space.” Rundquist said.

The move of the DPT program opens up much needed office and classroom spaces for a rapidly growing Concordia.
