Nominations Being Sought for Concordia’s Ninth President
Concordia University, St. Paul will accept nominations for the position of president from September 1- October 31, 2010. According to the LCMS Handbook, nominations may only be accepted from LCMS congregations, the Concordia University, St. Paul faculty, the Concordia University, St. Paul Board of Regents, and the LCMS Board for University Education.
The president is the chief executive officer of the university’s Board of Regents and serves as the university’s spiritual, academic and administrative head. The official functions of the office of the president are described in the LCMS Handbook, section 22.214.171.124.2

Nominations must be postmarked no later than October 31, 2010. All submissions must indicate the date on which the submitting body resolved to make the nomination, and include the nominee’s mailing address, phone number or e-mail address.
