During her career as a professional musician, Jeana Ogren has been very versatile as a pianist, singer, vocal coach, and teacher. She has collaborated with many well-known singers throughout California and the Midwest, performing art song recitals including many major song cycles. As an advocate for new music, she was the pianist for the San Francisco chapter of the National Association of Composers USA and premiered many works by composers from all over the United States.
Currently, she is the staff accompanist at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and is an active freelance performer in the Twin Cities. She was also the staff accompanist at Santa Clara University in California from 1991-2001, in addition to being a member of the piano faculty. Her degrees are from the University of Wyoming and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
