Online Class Information:

Concordia University's School of Continuing Studies online offerings provide a wide range of courses including general education and electives and special interests.

Online classes are accelerated which means a course is four to eight weeks in length, depending on the learning hours required to meet the credit value. Online classes are delivered through the WebCT platform which provides multiple web learning tools, including discussion board, assignment page, and students and instructors often meet in 45 minute weekly "chats".  Online courses are also available in a self-paced format that do not require sychronous meeting times. Find out more about self-paced classes by clicking here.

There are no academic prerequisites and students do not have to be admitted to Concordia to participate in Continuing Studies online or hybrid classes, we welcome visiting students as well as students already enrolled in a accelerated degree program; individuals seeking professional or personal enrichment; PSEO students; and high school students who wish to join us as visiting students.

To view scheduled online classes and descriptions, click on the "Search for Classes" link on the left navigation bar on this page.

To enroll in an online class simply complete the e-registration form.

PSEO,  high school, and students visiting from other institutions, should check with their academic advisor to determine how these online courses fulfill general education requirements or electives.

PSEO students wishing to enroll in online courses must first be accepted to the University as a PSEO student. To learn more about Concordia University's PSEO program check out our PSEO Informational Page.
