Welcome to the Department of Religion and Theology at Concordia University, Saint Paul! We invite you to join us in the study of theology, Lutheranism, Hebrew, Greek, and even archaeology. Click the links at the left to learn more.

Our mission statement reads: "The Department of Religion and Theology unfolds the Christian message from the perspective of Lutheran theology amid the diversity of human religious experience."
The department is housed on Concordia's College of Vocation and Ministryand assists the work of the college "to explore the Christian faith from the perspective of Lutheran theology, to educate and to form professional and lay leaders for the church, and to engage the Concordia communities in the discovery of vocation, witness, and service in home, workplace, community, and congregation."
