Doctor of Physical Therapy ProgramAdmission Process

DPT Admissions Process

CSP is now utilizing Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS). PTCAS is an online application service that facilitates the application process for our DPT students. *If you have already started your application through the Concordia website you are still able to complete your application using that method for this admissions cycle.

Once all required application items have been received and reviewed, you may then be contacted for an interview with the program’s admissions committee to complete your application file.

Contact admissions counselor Bekah Sommerfeld with any questions about the DPT program or application process: sommerfeld@csp.edu | 651-603-6236.

DPT Frequently Asked Questions

Does CSP have rolling admissions?

Yes.  Shortly after the admissions cycle closes for one year (12/1), it opens for the next.  This is typically by January of the following year.

Is there a minimum GRE score?

No.  We rank applicants by their GRE percentile.

Can I still submit an application even though my degree and/or prerequisite courses will be pending by the Dec. 1 deadline?

Yes, as long as they will be completed before the start of the fall semester.

Can I submit an essay or resume to be included with my application?

Neither are considered directly by the admissions committee, but some applicants choose to submit them anyway.

Can both of my letters of recommendation be from physical therapists?

Yes.

Does my observation hours form need to be signed by my supervisors?

No, we tend to trust our applicants.

When will I hear if I’m selected for an interview?

By the end of December of your application year.

How many students are accepted onto the waiting list?

40
