By your admission to Concordia you have completed the first step in ensuring an education that will allow you to grow as an individual in mind, body and spirit.

Next Steps

To finalize your enrollment, please complete the items below.

1. Apply for Financial Aid

After October 1, 2018 you will be able to file a 2019-20 FAFSA to apply for financial aid. To apply, complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and choose Concordia, St. Paul using the code 002347.

Approximately two weeks after submitting the FAFSA you will receive notification of your financial aid award package.

2. Submit Your Enrollment Deposit (First-Year Students)

Admitted first-year students are required to submit a $200 enrollment deposit to reserve their place in the entering class as well as start the class registration process. The deposit is applied to your first semester tuition at Concordia and is not a separate fee.

The deposit is non-refundable after May 1, 2019 for Fall 2019 enrollment; December 1, 2018 for Spring 2019 enrollment.

3. Sign Up to Attend Accepted Student Open House

Accepted Student Open House is your opportunity to finalize your enrollment and have any questions answered by various CSP representatives prior to the first day of classes.

Students Entering Concordia in Spring 2019:

Students Entering Concordia in Fall 2019:

CSP will be hosting orientations in summer 2019.  You will be mailed an invitation in 2019 to select the orientation date that works best for you.

*Note: The $200 enrollment deposit is required to start the class registration process for first-year students.  If you have questions about payment, please contact your admissions counselor.

4. Review Housing Information - On or Off Campus

Students Entering Concordia in Spring 2019:

To be placed in an on campus residence hall, please complete and submit the housing application.

Students Entering Concordia in Fall 2019:

Housing information for the 2019-2020 academic year will be sent to you in Spring 2019.

Students Living Off Campus

First-year students are required to live on campus unless living at home with a parent or guardian.  If you meet this criteria you must submit the Petition to Live Off Campus in lieu of the housing application.

Transfer students (students with college credits post high school) planning to live off campus are exempt from submitting any housing materials including the housing application and petition to live off campus.

Students Requiring Housing Accommodations

Students requiring any accommodations should complete the housing accommodation form and contact Student Accessibility Services at as soon as possible when applying for housing.
The deadline for accommodation requests is May 1 for fall term and December 1 for spring term.

5. Submit the Immunization Form

Minnesota State law requires proof of immunization. You will not be allowed to enroll until the required documentation has been submitted.

Visiting campus is a great way to get to know Concordia. If you have not already done so (or even if you have!) we strongly encourage you to visit us.

Enrollment Deposit Payment Instructions

Follow these steps to submit your $200 enrollment deposit online.  Payments can also be paid by check and mailed to Concordia University, Office of Admissions.

  1. First time users: Set up your Concordia network account
    Information regarding your username and the password you will use to set up your account will be emailed to you a few days after you are admitted
  2.  Login to CSPConnect (Concordia’s student portal) with your username and password
  3. Select the “Financial Aid and Billing” tab
  4. Select “Tuition and Fee Payment Online” (in the middle column, Payments box)
  5. A new window will open called CASHNet.  Select “Click here to make a payment”.
  6. Select “Tuition Deposit – Undergraduate”
  7. Select your term of entry and Add to Shopping Cart
  8. Proceed to Checkout
Register for a Parking Permit

If you plan to park on campus or commute to your classes, you must register any vehicles with CSP Security.  Once you register your vehicle(s), you will be able to pick up a parking permit from our Security office during the first week of classes.

Purchase a Bus Pass

Concordia participates in the College Pass program through the Twin Cities Metro Transit.

Bus passes cost $165 per semester and are valid for use on the following dates:

  • Fall semester: August 15 – December 31
  • Spring semester: January 1 – May 31
  • Summer: June 1 – August 14

Passes can be purchased at our cashier window on campus once they become available.  Fall semester passes will be available for purchase in August 2018.

Set Up Direct Deposit

All students are asked to set up direct deposit upon enrollment at CSP.  Direct deposit is necessary for student employment payroll, student refunds, or any other reimbursements.

Please set up your direct deposit before the first day of classes.

  1. Login to CSPConnect
  2. Select the Financial Aid and Billing tab
  3. Locate the Direct Deposit Information box in the right-hand column. Select “Update payroll, refunds and reimbursement information”.
  4. Select “Add New Direct Deposit”
  5. Input your 9-digit bank Routing Number
    1. Your routing number identifies your financial institution
    2. The routing number is typically the first nine numbers on your check
  6. Input your Account Number
  7. Select the appropriate Account Type (checking account or savings account)
  8. Select the Submit button
  9. Review the terms and select the Agree button

Technology Information

Concordia is one of the first universities to partner with Microsoft to license Microsoft Office for all students. This software will be available at no cost to students and the license allows installation on up to five devices owned by the student.  Learn more here!
