Concordia Connections - Orientation

Monday, August 7, 2017
8:30am – 3:00pm

Learn what it means to be a Concordia student and officially launch your Golden Bear career!

We are excited you are joining the Concordia community! To help make this important transition in your life a success, we invite you to campus for Orientation.

Orientation is designed to finalize your class registration, complete your financial aid process, and learn important details about campus life. Your family is welcome and encouraged to join you as our guests*.
*Due to space, we request no more than 2 guests per student.

Shortly after you RSVP for the Orientation date of your choosing and submit your tuition deposit, you will be invited to start the class registration process. Your academic advisor will be in touch via email with next steps. Class registration is finalized at Orientation.

Pre-registration for Orientation is now closed.

If you are an incoming student that has been admitted for Fall 2017 and have not yet RSVP’d but plan to attend on Monday, you will be able to register day-of at the check in table.

Please contact with questions.

Attending Orientation is mandatory for enrollment.

The $100 tuition deposit is required to register for classes.

Before Orientation

Submit Your Tuition Deposit

Admitted students are required to make a $100 tuition deposit to reserve their place in the entering class and register for classes. The deposit is applied to your first semester tuition at Concordia and is not a separate fee.

The deposit is non-refundable after May 1, 2017.

*Detailed online payment instructions can be found under the Orientation Toolkit below

Start the Class Registration Process

Shortly after your RSVP and tuition deposit are received, you will be contacted via email by your academic advisor to begin the registration process for your fall semester classes.

Please reply to their email in a timely manner and work with your advisor to address any questions you may have. Your class schedule will be finalized with an advisor at Orientation.

Send Your Housing Application and Payment

In order to receive your housing assignment at Orientation, your completed housing application as well as your housing down payment must be received prior to your orientation date.

When applying, return the completed housing application with a down payment of $125 (non-refundable after May 1, 2017) to Admissions. The housing application will not be processed without payment.

First-year students are required to live on campus unless living at home with a parent or guardian. If you meet this criteria and do not plan to live on campus, you must complete and submit the Petition to Live Off Campus.

Students requiring any accommodations should complete this form and contact Student Accessibility Services at as soon as possible when applying for housing.

Submit the Immunization Form

Minnesota State law requires proof of immunization. You will not be allowed to enroll until the required documentation has been submitted.
