Job Fairs & Upcoming Events

Our office participates in various job and internship fairs throughout the year. Below is a list of the fairs we participate in with information on how you can be involved.

New for fall 2020, we are hosting a Fall Recruiting Fair! We will be sending out more information in late August, early September!

Fall 2020

  • Looking for a part-time job? Come to the CSP Fall Part-Time Job Fair to meet with on and off-campus employers offering paid, part-time, non-degree required jobs that accommodate your class schedule.

    Event Details:

    • When: Thursday, September 10, 2020, 10:00 am – Noon CT
    • Where: Virtual/Handshake
    • Who can attend: All CSP students (please note, most positions are local to campus in St. Paul)
    • Cost: Free!
    • Registration: Students register here!
      Registration opens on Wednesday September 3, 2020.

  • Undergraduate students from 17 Minnesota Private Colleges who are prepared for early season recruiting and are interested in securing internships and jobs in a corporate setting are invited to attend the Fall 2020 Recruiting Fair!The Minnesota Private Colleges are seeking large Minnesota-based and national companies hiring in the areas of consulting, banking, finance, actuarial science, stats/data science, technology, business analysis, management and leadership training/development, and project management.

    • What: MNPC Fall Recruiting Fair (Jobs and Internships)
    • Who can attend: Undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors and prior semester graduates (May/June/August 2020)
    • Where: Virtual
    • When: Friday, September 25, 2020 from 12-4:00 pm
    • Register: CSP Career Development will open registration in late August.
  • The Government & Nonprofit Career Fair allows candidates to pursue professional opportunities and internships in all levels of government and nonprofit agencies. The job fair is open to all CSP students and alumni. There is no cost to attend this event! View employers registered for this event.

    • When: Friday, October 30, 2020, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
    • Where: Virtual
    • Who can attend: CSP sophomores, juniors and seniors
    • Cost: Free!
    • Registration: Will open Fall 2020

Spring 2021

  • Looking for a part-time job? Come to the CSP Spring Part-Time Job Fair to meet with on and off-campus employers offering paid, part-time, non-degree required jobs that accommodate your class schedule.

    Event Details:

    • When: Wednesday, January 13, 2021, 10:00 am – 11:30 am
    • Where: TBD
    • Who can attend: All CSP students (please note, most positions are local to campus in St. Paul)
    • Cost: Free!
    • Registration: None

  • Join us at the 45th Minnesota Private Colleges’ Job and Internship Fair! By attending the Job Fair, you will have the opportunity to network with 260+ employers who are interested in starting and maintaining employment relationships with Minnesota graduates! Many of the employers who will be present at the fair will be actively recruiting for jobs and internships. Other employers may anticipate hiring in the next six months.

    No matter what the organizations’ objectives may be, as an attendee, you can take advantage of speaking with recruiters from a variety of different industries to learn how your career goals may fit with their hiring needs.

    • When: Thursday, February 25, 2021
      – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (Job Fair and Interviews)
      – 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Interviews Only)
    • Where: TBD
    • Who can attend: CSP sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all majors.
    • Cost: $15

    This event is wheelchair accessible. Individuals requiring Sign-Language Interpreters, Real-time captioners, alternative print materials or other accommodations should contact Career Development at as soon as possible. Some services may require up to two weeks to coordinate.

  • CSP students and alumni eligible to teach by December 2021 are invited to attend the 35th annual Minnesota Education Job Fair. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with school districts from across the nation. We encourage you to visit the MN Education Job Fair site prior to registering for the fair to view the districts in attendance, the positions they are hiring for, and their application/interview process.

    • When: Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
    • Where: TBD
    • Cost: $20*
    • Who can attend: CSP students and alumni eligible to teach by December 2021
    • Registration: Opens spring 2021
