Assistant Director Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
Jeanne Lojovich PT PhD, is the Assistant Director at Concordia University, St. Paul’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Dr. Lojovich has extensive clinical practice in physical therapy with an emphasis in Neurology. Her primary area of clinical practice and research has been in the area of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) at the Minneapolis Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. Her latest research efforts have focused on the effect of aerobic exercise on cognition and brain activity following TBI and the professional behavior management of DPT students.
She is also extremely passionate about outreach and global health and has been instrumental in the development of the PT clinic services to the underserved within the Minneapolis area. She travels annually to Niger, Africa to teach, provide PT services and assist in the development of a University based Physiotherapy program.
Dr. Lojovich has previously been the Director of Clinical Education at the University of Minnesota Program in Physical Therapy where she also taught a variety of clinical courses. At Concordia University DPT Program in St. Paul, she teaches basic clinical skills, neurorehabilitation and service learning.
