Dr. Lyndsey Vandenberg
Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Lyndsey Vandenberg joined the DPT faculty at Concordia University in spring 2015. She received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Concordia University, St. Paul in 2004 where she also played Division II soccer. She received her DPT degree in 2008 from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences in Rochester, MN. Through the years she has practiced at Mayo Clinic in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient, Emergency Department and women’s health. She has spoken at the state and national level on topics regarding mentoring, new professional opportunities, women’s health, and PT in the Emergency Department.
Dr. Vandenberg has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 2005. As a DPT student she served on the APTA National Student Assembly for two consecutive terms; one as the student delegate, and the second as Vice President. She was one of 12 DPT students nationally in 2008 to receive the McMillan Scholarship from the APTA for superior scholastic ability and potential for future professional contribution. She continued active engagement following graduation and severed as the MN Physical Therapy Association’s Membership chair for five years. She is currently serving her second term as an elected Minnesota Delegate.
