Dr. Megan Dowdal-Osborn
Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy
Megan Dowdal-Osborn PT, Ph.D., NCS joined the DPT faculty at Concordia University in fall 2014. She has practiced within multiple clinical settings including acute care, subacute, long term care and acute rehabilitation. Her most extensive clinical practice is in outpatient neurologic and vestibular rehabilitation.
Prior to joining Concordia Dr. Dowdal-Osborn taught full time in St. Catherine University’s DPT program for four years. She has extensive teaching experience in neurologic rehabilitation, balance, falls, geriatric and vestibular rehabilitation. She continues to practice in subacute and long term care settings. Her research interests include stepping mechanisms in stroke survivors, balance and falls and a growing interest in Irish dancer injury prevention.
Dr. Dowdal-Osborn is deeply committed to creating a positive, engaging classroom with a variety of teaching and learning tools. She is passionate about meeting the students’ learning needs while simultaneously sharing her excitement about neurologic rehabilitation.
