Dr. Richard Brynteson

Dr. Richard Brynteson pushes his students and clients to examine their own thinking and make changes in order to improve their productivity and quality of life. As a professor in Concordia’s College of Business and Technology, Brynteson pushes for innovation, creativity and efficiency in order to build upon strategic capabilities. He has conceptualized, developed and implemented curriculum for Concordia’s Marketing and Innovation Management, Human Resource Management and Organizational Management and Leadership majors at CSP.

Christine Kudelka

Christine Kudelka is an innovative educator who has elevated the credentials of the institutions for which she has taught. Kudelka has strategically driven the development of course material for marketing management, global marketing, food retail, sales management and other related programs. Kudelka became an expert in her field by leading for more than 25 years in roles as principle consultant, marketing and business development vice president and corporate sales vice president for such corporations as National Car Rental, Jacobs Management, Great Clips International and Creed Consulting. In these roles, she launched countless new products and marketing campaigns that allowed her corporations to grow and enhance in value.`

Craig Lien

Craig Lien’s diverse and productive thirty year career has included owning a department store, Director of Recruiting at a major executive search company, providing marketing, business strategy consulting, and corporate training for businesses and non-profits ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500. A lifelong entrepreneur Lien has a special passion for working with emerging growth organizations.  In addition to his faculty position at Concordia University he is President of a Web based retailer of innovative marine products. He has been a leading educator in adult cohort based programs for over twenty years at several regional universities.  He has been a full time faculty member at CSP since 1999.

Health Care Compliance Faculty

The following faculty are approved by Mitchell Hamline School of Law, within their accreditation standards, to teach the four health care compliance courses.  Based on their credentials (degrees and tested experience) these faculty also meet Concordia’s faculty eligibility standards.


Barbara C. Colombo

Barbara Colombo is an Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Health Care Compliance Certificate Program at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Her responsibilities include the ongoing management and strategic growth and development of the Mitchell Hamline’s nationally recognized Health Care Compliance Certificate Program. She launched Mitchell Hamline’s distance learning (online) Health Care Compliance Certificate Program in 2012 and serves as the faculty lead for both the JD and online programs.  

Morgan Schacht

Morgan Schacht, JD, is a Regional Compliance/Privacy Officer in Mayo Clinic’s Integrity and Compliance Office. In this role, she oversees compliance initiatives for the Southwest Minnesota Region of the Mayo Clinic Health System. She conducts compliance risk assessments and leadership reporting, investigates internal and external compliance complaints, and participates on the Institutional Review Board (IRB). Prior to her Compliance/Privacy Officer role, Morgan worked as a Senior Privacy Analyst at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where she led business associate initiatives, developed multi-site, privacy policies, and responded to requests from federal and state agencies. Morgan also wrote a chapter about “Privacy by Design” for the HCCA compliance manual and participated on the Minnesota Department of Health’s Privacy and Security workgroup. Before starting a compliance career, she also completed a district court judicial clerkship for the honorable Christina K. Stevens. Morgan has a Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law and has earned healthcare law and compliance certificates.

Sheri Beck

As the Privacy Officer at Prime Therapeutics LLC (Prime), a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) serving more than 26 million members, Sheri Beck is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the privacy compliance program including Prime’s compliance policies and procedures to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy regulations. Beck also leads the company’s large incident response preparedness efforts. Beck brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate law and compliance to Prime.
