Concordia Hosting Spring Youth Football Camp, April 28


Concordia University, St. Paul is hosting a spring youth football camp for children in grades kindergarten through eighth on Saturday, April 28, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., at Sea Foam Stadium.

The non-padded, non-contact camp is designed to teach fundamental football techniques. Campers will be given opportunities to practice all offensive and defensive positions during the two-hour session. The first half of the camp will consist of position development while the second half will involve contests and games.

Concordia head football coach Ryan Williams, a former starting quarterback at North Dakota State, offensive line coach Derek Branch, current Golden Bear players, former alumni and local Division III coaches will be on hand to help coach the campers. The Golden Bear football team will play its annual spring game at the conclusion of the camp.

Cost for the two-hour camp is $30 per camper which includes a camp T-shirt. The deadline to register is April 20.
