Dr. Sally Baas Discusses School Security on KSTP Newscast
Concordia University, St. Paul’s Dr. Sally Baas participated in a round-table discussion about school safety and security on KSTP’s evening newscast Dec. 13.
Baas, who serves as director of Southeast Asian Teacher, Hmong Culture and Language, English as a Second Language and Special Education programs at Concordia, is also the president of the National Association of School Psychologists.
Baas recently was also part of a Congressional briefing in Washington, D.C. on the topic of school safety.
Joining the KSTP discussion with Baas were Hennepin county Sheriff Rich Stanek and Kevin White, a police officer and instructor at Rasmussen College School of Justice Studies.
