Get Involved!

Take a break from the books and seize all that Concordia has to offer. With so many ways to get involved with life on campus, you’ll have no problem filling your days with activities, opportunities and memories!

Student Clubs and Organizations

Try out one or more of our clubs and organizations, from intramural athletics to academic clubs to drama and music ministry. Can’t find the activity that you’re really excited about? Contact Student Senate to start your own club from the ground up… you may even get your idea funded!

CSP Ministry and Spiritual Life

There’s nearly always a CSP Ministry event to help you grow in your faith. And when you need nothing more than some relaxation and laughs, you can always grab a few friends to gab, watch a movie, or play games in a student lounge.

Study Abroad

Immerse yourself in a new culture while learning in a global context. Visit the Study Abroad page and start planning your abroad experience!

NCAA Division II Athletics

Sometimes you may want to stay busy without the regular commitment. Find an event to attend! With 16 NCAA Division II teams to root for, there are home games nearly every week of the year (we have NINE national championships… you’ll have plenty to cheer about).

Service-learning and volunteering are foundational elements of Concordia’s mission. The Community Action, Leadership, and Learning (CALL) Center provides you with numerous opportunities to discover your passion, your community and the world through serving others. With annual events like Martin Luther King Day of Service and  Live with Purpose, nearly every student at CSP participates in service.  Looking for other ways to get involved? The CALL Center also houses study abroad opportunities, clubs and orgs, and our Ignite Leadership program.

Leadership Program

The IGNITE leadership program is designed to grow your leadership potential, fuel your passion and transform you into one of tomorrow’s leaders. The IGNITE Leadership Development Program is an experiential education program comprised of a series of trainings and service activities. The flexible program offers you several ways to fulfill the requirements for a certificate that is noted on your college transcript. Visit the Community Action, Leadership and Learning Center page for more information.

Fine Arts

The Concordia Art Gallery rotates exhibitions throughout the year and there are plenty of music and theatre performances to keep the right side of your brain engaged.

Welcome Weekend, Strawberry Festival, Knollapalooza

Concordia campus events are some of the best times you’ll enjoy during the school year. Welcome Weekend is a full slate of CSP initiation featuring orientation, service events, free meals and entertainment, work study job fair, and more! Comet’s Carnival takes place each fall at homecoming and includes rides, food and special events. Strawberry Festival and Knollapalooza come around each spring to get you outside following a long winter.
