The education I’m getting feels like it’s not just a classroom where you come and it’s just lectures. It’s more for conversations between the professor and the students. It’s more interactive. It applies more to real business and the real world – it’s not just theories. I love it. I love the way they teach and make it more applicable to the real world. It’s more practical.

Responsive. Relevant. Real.

  • The reality for our nation’s college students and their families is that higher education has become too expensive. Concordia has responded with a meaningful and relevant solution. In reducing our tuition price by $10,000, we are putting our high-quality, personalized education within the financial reach of more families who desire a Christian private college experience that is affordable and of lasting value.

Concordia is devoted to providing an educational experience that is responsive to the needs of our students. We respond with:

    Caring Faculty

The personalized instruction that takes place in small class sizes allows our professors to respond to the individual learning needs of our students. But our faculty’s student-centered approach also extends outside the classroom, as dedicated and accessible CSP professors advise and mentor students and help position them for success beyond graduation.

    Welcoming Community

Even though our students range in age and come from diverse backgrounds, faiths and cultures, all of them join a campus community that responds to and supports their aspirations to grow academically, spiritually and interpersonally.

    Flexible Degree Programs

We respond to and serve students at every phase of their educational journey, whether it’s via our traditional four-year degree program, individual classes through Continuing Studies, or accelerated undergraduate and graduate degree programs in classroom, online or blended formats.

    Transfer-Friendly Policies

Our Transfer Advantage program offers scholarships and the smooth transfer of credits to students with an associate’s degree at a partner institution or successful completion of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum.

    Affordable Pricing

Thanks to our tuition reset, Concordia’s tuition for 2013-14 will drop by $10,000 (33%), making our “sticker price” one of the lowest of all private colleges and universities in Minnesota and in the Concordia University System.

  • Our academic programs are designed to meet the needs of our region by teaching the skills and abilities employers seek, yet within a liberal arts framework that also gives our graduates career versatility. Students apply concepts they learn in class to real-world challenges using tools such as case studies, projects, service- learning, internships, research, study trips and more to develop the practical knowledge that’s demanded in the job market.

Concordia is devoted to providing an educational experience that is relevant to the demands of the job market. We ensure relevance with:

    Hands-on Applied Learning

Our students apply concepts they learn in class to real-world challenges using tools such as case studies, projects, service-learning, internships, research, study trips and more to develop practical knowledge and abilities that are attractive to employers.

    In-Demand Course Offerings

Our curriculum is designed to meet the marketplace needs of our region by teaching the skills and abilities employers seek, yet within a liberal arts framework that also gives our graduates career versatility. And new degree programs (such as a B.A. in health care) are being developed in response to local marketplace demand, as well.

    Targeted Services

The offices on our campus provide services that are relevant to our students’ lives, whether it’s Career Services helping you identify part-time job opportunities, Campus Ministries offering you worship and prayer opportunities, or Diversity Affairs pairing you with mentors.

  • A Concordia education is meaningful preparation for real life not only because of the career knowledge and skills our students gain, but also because we help them acquire greater self-understanding and achieve a growing realization of their abilities and interests. This opportunity to explore their vocation in home, workplace, community and congregation gives our graduates an education of lifelong value as they engage in thoughtful living and dedicated service.

Concordia is devoted to providing an educational experience that is real preparation for thoughtful living and dedicated service. We prioritize:

    Practical Learning

The coursework in our fully accredited programs (all taught by professors, not teaching assistants) is directly applicable to real life. Our metro location is home to Fortune 500 companies and a wide array of employers, so Concordia undergraduate students turn theory into practice at internships and jobs, and adult learners in our cohort and graduate programs apply their learning immediately in their professions.

    Meaningful Life Preparation

We focus on education for vocation in home, workplace, community and congregation by helping our students acquire greater self-understanding and achieve a growing realization of their abilities and interests.

    Societal Good

We prepare students for dedicated service to God and humanity and for the enlightened care of God’s creation, and the service-learning portion of our curriculum combines meaningful community or public service with academic learning and personal growth.

    Fulfillment of High Need

We recognize an obligation to provide access to higher education for qualified students from traditionally underserved populations, including first-generation college students and low-income families.
