Lisa Stender

Vice President of Manufacturing at Feed My Starving Children

Lisa Stender graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood/Family Education in 2003. She is now the Vice President of Manufacturing at Feed My Starving Children.

Stender obtained valuable skills from her time at CSP that she now uses day to day in her career. “The skillsets I utilize most in my career were honed at CSP – learning from and about others, being diligent and accountable, collaborating, relating well to others and so many more!”

Stender appreciated CSP’s extracurricular offerings that taught her valuable skills in leadership. “CSP also offered a great variety of things beyond academics to participate in – career planning, theater, diversity groups, study abroad trips. I took advantage of all of those offerings and it made me a well-rounded leader coming out of undergrad!”

CSP’s faith focus allowed Stender to grow in her faith and apply her faith to her career. “My faith-based education prepared me for my current role at FMSC – we are grounded in faith and our calling to feed God’s children and I get to live out my calling and faith every single day.”
