GRADUATE INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS
Graduate studies candidates are those who have received a bachelor’s degree and are pursuing a graduate degree. The following requirements should be submitted for acceptance consideration:

Step 1: Complete your CSP Graduate Application

- Create an account in our application portal, then complete and submit your online application.
- Use the portal login page to reference your application status and items that you still need to submit throughout the application process.
*Please use the same email that you create your account with to also correspond with the International Admissions office for faster processing.

Students already studying in the United States should apply to the university and transfer their SEVIS record to Concordia University, St. Paul. Please share the following SEVIS information with the DSO at the last school you attended or were admitted to in the U.S. and who will be transferring your record to us.

Step 2: Upload the Following Documents to Your CSP Application Portal

Photocopy of your valid passport page showing photo, name, and birth date. If you are transferring from a US institution, please also submit a photocopy of your visa page.

- Upload an original/official bank letter or statement provided on official bank letterhead that meets CSP’s cost estimate in U.S. dollars.
- Bank statement may be from a student or family member.
- We ask that statements are dated and less than 3 months old from the time of your application submission and in English

Students should complete the Certificate of Finance form that reflects the information stated on their bank statement. This form should reflect information for the term that you intend to start your studies in.
Step 3: COUNTRY-SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS FOR SUBMITTING OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS & ENGLISH PROFICIENCY SCORES

Submit official transcripts of the highest degree awarded. Minimum equivalent Bachelor’s degree required. Transcripts/credentials are required prior to being admitted to a graduate program. You can view what documents are required in your student portal.
- Official transcripts should be sent or evaluated after all coursework is complete with grades and if applicable, the degree awarded is finalized. If you are in the process of completing a degree or coursework, do not submit any documents until your grades and degree awarded appear on your official documents.
- It is your responsibility to request official transcripts/credentials from the required institution(s).
- University officials may contact institutions directly to verify official documents. If we are unable to verify the student’s transcripts or credentials, the University reserves the right to request an official transcript evaluation of your credits or withdraw your application.

Students with a 4-year degree:
Please submit certified copies of your semester-by-semester marksheets/academic transcripts, consolidated marks, and diploma/provisional certificate with English translation. Official transcripts can be sent electronically from a verifiable email address of the Registrar, Controller of Exams, or Principal to [email protected]. The sender must be a verified sender from the Registrar, Controller of Exams, or Principal and we must be able to locate the sending email on the university’s web pages. Official transcripts can also be sent directly to CSP through TrueCopy. University must be accredited by the NAAC during the entire time of study.
Students with a 3-year degree:
If you have received a 3-year bachelor’s degree from India, you are eligible to study at the graduate level at CSP if your degree meets all of the following requirements:
- You graduated with at least 90 subject credits, or 120 overall credits
- Your bachelor’s university was accredited by the NAAC with an ‘A’ grade during the entire time of your study
- You graduated with a first class, or a CGPA of 6.5 or higher.

DOCTORAL INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS

Concordia University offers a competitive Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program on our campus in St. Paul. This year-around program gives students hands-on learning t regarding the elements and practice of Physical Therapy.

In addition to the admission requirements of the DPT program, international students applying to this program will also be required to submit the following items (see requirements under Graduate International Admissions above for details about these items and how to submit them):

GRADUATE APPLICATION DEADLINES

Applicants will not be permitted to start late in the term. If you cannot get a VISA appointment in time to arrive to the University and start classes on the first day you will need to defer your application to the next term. Contact International Admissions for more information.
*Applicants who are transferring an F-1 VISA from another U.S. academic institution may be considered for admission up until three weeks prior to our admissions start date.

Completed applications are reviewed weekly and students can expect a decision within 3-5 days of all completed documents submitted. Note, during high volume times or when CSP has been closed, there may be additional delay. Find the latest status on your application by logging into the application portal.

Congratulations on your acceptance! Now, onto your next steps located on the Accepted Graduate International Student webpage. Please be sure to review all steps on this page. Items include signing up for orientation, submitting your Registration Authorization form, and submitting your Immunization form.

Once you have completed your acknowledgment of acceptance and paid your $100 deposit, an electronic I-20 will be processed and emailed to you.
