Communications Officer for Wynne Public Schools
Danny Russell graduated in 2023 with his MFA in Creative Writing from CSP Global. Russell is currently the Communications Officer for Wynne Public Schools and uses the skills and tools gained from his master’s degree.
Russell was drawn to CSP for many reasons: “Concordia St. Paul had everything I wanted in graduate school. The small class sizes, attentive professors, and its strong faith-based mission was the perfect setting.” Russell says that the small class sizes helped him feel supported by faculty and peers.
One of the most valuable aspects of Russell’s program was the community feel. “The Creative Writing MFA at CSP is a tight-knit community led by professors who care about their students and will do whatever they can to see them succeed.”
Russell says he felt prepared for his career upon graduating and that the knowledge he gained helped him accomplish career goals. “CSP gave me the tools I needed to excel in the field of creative writing and prepare for life after college…shortly after graduation I realized my dream of receiving a publishing contract.”
