At Concordia University, St. Paul, Direct Admission offers qualified students a simplified pathway to college. Depending on your high school and application method, you may receive an admission offer automatically based on your academic record.
CSP participates in multiple direct admission programs that help students take the next step toward a Christ-centered higher education.
Additional supplemental information may be requested upon acceptance.

Receiving Direct Admission means you have been offered admission to CSP based on your academic achievements.
Direct Admission:
- Confirms your place at CSP
- Simplifies the application process
- Allows you to move forward with enrollment steps sooner
- Does not bind you to attend CSP
- You may still explore other colleges before making your final decision
Direct Admission Pathways
You may receive a Direct Admission offer to CSP through one of the following admission pathways:

CSP participates in the Minnesota Direct Admission initiative through the Minnesota Office of Higher Education.
Eligible Minnesota high school seniors may receive an admission offer based on their GPA and academic record through their high school.
Students who receive this offer can accept their admission and begin the enrollment process with CSP.
Minimum GPA requirement: 2.5

Students applying through the Common App may receive Direct Admission based on their academic profile.
This allows students to receive an admission decision quickly and move forward with their next steps toward enrolling at CSP.
Minimum GPA requirement: 2.0

Beginning Fall 2026, CSP will participate in the following LCMS Direct Admission program. Graduates from Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) high schools are eligible for Direct Admission to CSP.
This initiative strengthens the Lutheran education pathway by providing a clear transition from LCMS high schools into Lutheran higher education.
Students graduating from LCMS high schools are guaranteed admission to CSP undergraduate on campus and online programs.*
Eligible students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (or 2.0 if applying through CSP’s application).
*Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs are not included in CSP’s Direct Admission Programs.
