2025 Spring Commencement Ceremony
CSP is planning three spring commencement ceremonies that will take place at Concordia University, St. Paul’s Gangelhoff Arena. Participating students received official communication regarding which ceremony they are assigned to. If you are a student and have questions about your ceremony, please email [email protected].
- Friday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.

- Students should arrive 45-60 minutes before the ceremony. Please bring an ID to ensure a quick check-in process.
- Doors will open to guests 1 hour before the event
- The entire venue is handicap accessible
- The ceremony is approximately 90 minutes in length
- Flowers will be available for purchase
- Parking is free
- A professional photographer will capture students receiving their diploma cover on stage and have an individual photo taken.

Each student receives 8 guest tickets. Please visit www.csp.edu/tickets to secure your guest tickets.
- Select your assigned ceremony and enter your student ID with “L” for the “Passcode”.
- Tickets are sent via email from Home Town Tix or text following submission.
- In order to maintain venue capacity, additional tickets are not available, but your guests can watch the celebration via live stream.

Honors listed in the commencement program will be estimated if your degree is not yet awarded and may change based on your final grades and cumulative GPA when your degree is awarded.
Only undergraduate degree-completing students are eligible to earn honors. Graduate students are not eligible for Latin Honors.
Undergraduate students who complete 60 or more credits at CSP and meet the following GPA requirements will earn Latin honors:
- 3.6 – 3.74 Cum Laude
- 3.75 – 3.89 Magna Cum Laude
- 3.9 – 4.0 Summa Cum Laude
Undergraduate students who complete 59 or fewer credits at CSP and meet the following GPA requirements will earn honors:
- 3.75 – 3.89 with Distinction
- 3.9 – 4.0 with High Distinction
The honors earned, if any, at the time your degree is awarded will be printed on your transcript and diploma. If your degree is awarded after the commencement ceremony and your estimated honors changed, you may request to exchange your medallion or pin by contacting the Registrar’s Office at 651-641-8233 or [email protected].

Yes. The Registrar’s Office will review student records for degree awarding after final grades are posted to the student record (one week after the end of the term). This process can take 2-3 weeks.
The university prints diplomas monthly and sends a congratulatory email once that process is completed. An official transcript can be used as proof of degree. We highly encourage you to check your unofficial transcript prior to requesting the official.
Diplomas will be mailed to the permanent address on your student record.o

The fall ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 13. The time will be determined in early fall.
