Dr. Kelly Sadlovsky

Chair Department of Graduate Teacher Education | Chair of MAED - Early Childhood

Dr. Kelly Sadlovsky has been serving in the education field for over thirty years with roles as a classroom teacher, center director, licensing consultant, accreditation validator, community program director, family advocate, trainer, researcher, and higher education faculty.

Dr. Sadlovsky currently serves as the Chair for the Department of Graduate Teacher Education and MAED Chair for the early childhood emphasis at CSP. She owned a large child development center in the Twin Cities for twelve years, which served as a fieldwork site for early childhood education students in various programs. Dr. Sadlovsky served on the Board of Directors for MnAEYC/MnSACA for over six years and currently serves as a consulting editor for NAEYC. She has served as a member of the University Assessment Council since 2015 and served on the University Honorary Awards Committee. She is a certified Master Trainer for the State of MN for Parent Aware. She has a Ph.D. in Education, an MAED with an early childhood emphasis, and a B.A. in child development.

Dr. Sadlovsky is married with three grown children and five grandchildren. Both her husband and son served in the military with several deployments, and she supports military families through missions in her church and center. She has a passion for serving young children and families, building a greater sense of community through collaborations, and creating quality learning environments for students of all ages.
